This is what makes it so powerful for me. The contrast of the innocence of the children and the beauty of the image with the shocking realisation that they are playing in a bombed out building, looking out over more bombed out buildings. It all combines to make this a very fragile moment that is extremely moving. It’s such a stunning and unusual conflict picture and I find it extremely refreshing."
