Magnum Photos and the International Center of Photography present Weegee: New York

Available for the first time ever, these estate-stamped prints by the notorious New York photographer are temporarily available for purchase as an estate-stamped, museum-quality print in 6×6 inches (15.24 x 15.24 cm) and 8×10 inches (20.32 x 25.4 cm).

The edition is not limited by quantity, but limited by time. This Weegee Estate Print is only available for purchase between February 10, 2020, at 10 a.m. EST and March 6, 2020, at 6 p.m. EST.

All Weegee Estate Prints are estate-stamped by hand on the back of the print and an archival label, which includes the image’s accompanying caption is affixed to the back of the print.

Magnum Photos and the International Center of Photography (ICP) have a long, overlapping history—ICP was founded in 1974 by Cornell Capa, a Magnum member, to preserve the legacy of his brother Robert Capa, one of Magnum’s founders, and other “concerned photographers”—and ICP has organized a number of exhibitions of and publications about Magnum photographers over the years. ICP has preserved Weegee’s archive of more than 20,000 prints for over twenty-five years, organizing many exhibitions and publishing several catalogues of the work. ICP recently reunited its school and museum in a new home on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, a neighborhood where Weegee made much of his work.

All orders will be processed as fast as logistically possible. Prints will ship within 10 business days of order placement. All orders will ship from Magnum New York. Orders may be subject to import duties for addresses outside of the USA.
