Nike Conquers the Night
Alex Majoli joined Copenhagen’s fastest running crew, NBRO, on an urban night run to capture a series of images for Nike's Midnight Pack trainer advertising campaign
NBRO are Copenhagen’s fastest running crew. They have mastered running the city’s urban terrain by connecting individual members personal routes to create a marathon-length, 25-kilometer unbroken loop around the city.
‘Run, Party, Repeat,’ is the NBRO motto. Stamina means more to crew members than being able to run fast and far, and one of the biggest badges of honor is being able to get up after a night of partying and run again, even if it’s not at time-beating speeds.
To advertise the launch of the new Nike Midnight Pack trainer, Magnum photographer Alex Majoli joined NBRO to document on of their night run in Copenhagen. The story appeared on both Nike.com and Magnum’s Instagram feed.
