First of all, please try adjusting the volume both on your device and also on the video player launched when you view a lesson in learn.magnumphotos.com. Please also check your device's volume by playing other media through it to check it's not an issue with your device. Magnum Learn is a new online learning platform provided by Magnum Photos. Magnum Learn offers high quality and immersive online educational experiences using some of the best and most experienced photographers and industry experts in the world.
Magnum Learn courses are developed by Magnum staff and photographers and our network of industry experts. Each course is comprised of multiple lessons that can be viewed online, on-demand, at any time. The video lessons are pre-recorded and can be paused, fast-forwarded or rewatched unlimited times. Each course also provides additional material through workbooks with bonus material, interview extracts and lesson summaries, as well as recommended reading.
Each course has 2-5+ hours of video content split into individual lesson videos. These can be watched and re-watched as many times as you like. There is also additional learning material in the form of workbooks. You can take the course at your own pace and there is no time limit.
The length of each lesson varies between 5-40+ minutes each.
No, you can take the course at your own pace. Once you have purchased a course, you own it for life (subject to T&Cs). There is no expiration or time limit so you can interact with the course to suit your own schedule or availability.

Magnum Learn online courses are designed to cover a variety of topics. Each lesson has a primary focus and includes a number of sub-chapters.
Some of the video lessons and workbooks include assignments devised by your tutors and Magnum staff, but these are extracurricular and not a requirement to complete the course. Some are practical assignments to encourage students to get shooting, while others are more theoretical. Students can share the results of these exercises by using the associated hashtag included in each workbook.
Once you have completed an individual lesson or the course in full, we encourage you to put the tips and advice from your tutors into action. You can also complete assignments included in the course and share the results of these exercises by using the associated hashtag included in each workbook.
