Welcome to the new Magnum Photos site
Explore the world-class storytelling work of Magnum photographers
In 1947, following the aftermath of the Second World War, four pioneering photographers, Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, David Seymour and George Rodger, founded a now legendary alliance.
To this day, Magnum Photos represents some of the world’s most renowned photographers, maintaining its founding ideals and idiosyncratic mix of journalist, artist and storyteller.
Magnum Photos is delighted to launch a new storytelling site devoted to the work of Magnum’s global roster of photographers, to share with Magnum’s audience new and classic photography stories, and to showcase the work Magnum does in collaboration with its partners. We are still in soft launch mode so please bear with us if you catch any snags on these pages!
The Magnum Photos historic archive of seminal images and critical bodies of documentary-inspired work continues to live on Magnum PRO, a hub for Magnum Photos’ editorial, cultural and commercial activities.
