Magnum wins Art for Peace Award 2018

Magnum has been awarded the Art for Peace Award 2018. The award is granted every year to important artists and personalities from the world of culture.

For its 10th edition, the theme of the award is “Global Inequalities” and it has been granted to Magnum Photos, at the “Science for Peace” world conference, which took place over two days at Università Bocconi in Milan this week. The award was presented on November 15, collected by Magnum’s Andrea Holzherr and Magnum photographer Ferdinando Scianna. More information here.

Daken Exhibition in China

In March 2018, Magnum Photos teamed up with Daken Art to hold the first multimedia creation camp in China. Participants have spent 8 months on a multimedia story under the guidance of Magnum photographer Chien-Chi Chang. We are pleased to invite you to the Magnum Photos and Daken Art Multimedia Creation Camp exhibition ceremony at 15:30pm this Sunday at the J&Z Gallery, 101, FI Building, South District, OCT LOFT as part of the International Urban Images Festival in Shenzhen, China.
