To celebrate the collaboration between Magnum Photos and Belstaff, which saw the launch of a Field and Weekend bag last month, we invited Belstaff’s Collection Creative Director Delphine Ninous to take a deep dive in the Magnum archive. Curating a selection of images that speak to notion of style, Ninous brings her sartorial eye to Magnum’s classic photographs. She highlights the inherent allure of motorcyle and aviation daredevils–a timeless style imbued with a sense of adventure, that resonates still today in the British brand’s inspiration: “In selecting my images from Magnum’s rich archive, I looked to works which embodied Belstaff’s legacy in aviation and motor sports. I wanted to celebrate the spirit of adventure shared by Belstaff and Magnum’s photographers and the duality of man and machine which has played such a key role in our heritage.”
