Stuart Franklin on The New York Review of Books, Magnum Photos prepares for Photo London 2019, and more updates from the agency this week
Stuart Franklin on The New York Review of Books
Stuart Franklin visited the Northern Irish town of Carrickfergus, the subject of the eponymous 1937 poem by Louis MacNeice, which reflects on MacNeice’s childhood in the town. Franklin’s visual and written meditation takes a look at how things stand there now, drawing parallels between the contemporary Carrickfergus with its poetic rendering in the 1930s.
