Susan Meiselas on New York Times’ LensBlog

With the recent release of two books about her work, James Estrin of the New York Times speaks with Susan Meiselas about her career, from teaching elementary school in the South Bronx to documenting Nicaragua’s Sandanista revolution, breaking boundaries, and setting up the Magnum Foundation of which she remains president. The Frenetic Lives of the Beat Generation, in Huck Magazine

Huck Magazine speak with  Tony Nourmand, publisher of the forthcoming book the beat scene, about the discovery of over 400 previously unseen negatives in Magnum photographer Burt Glinn’s archive. The photos, covering everything from coffee house poetry readings to loft parties, scuffles with reporters, and bongo recitals shed new light on one of the 20th Century’s most influential cultural movements.
