Unretouched Women on Fisheye

French photographic publication Fisheye has covered the Unretouched Women exhibition in Arles, which sees Susan Meiselas and Eve Arnold’s photographs featured alongside Abigail Heyman’s. The exhibition combines work from the three photographers’ photobooks, which challenged gender bias and were all published in the 1970s – including Arnold’s The Unretouched Woman and Meiselas’s Carnival Strippers.

The show is on display until September 22. More information can be found here.

You can learn more about The Unretouched Woman here, and  Meiselas’s Carnival Strippers here. You can read the Fisheye article – in French – here.
